The Destructive Entity Peddles These Sterilizing & Often Permanent Drugs to Adolescents 

The U.S. Health and Human Services’ (HHS) 2025 review of cross-sex hormone “treatment” for children exposed the chilling ramifications of so-called “gender-affirming” care. The report also confirmed that Planned Parenthood, the Number One abortion provider in America, also sterilizes children for profit and is now the leading provider of these cross-sex hormones for young people, with all their catastrophic effects. 

That makes Planned Parenthood not only the number one killer of children, but also their number one sterilizer, as so many of the changes become permanent and irreversible.

The American College of Pediatricians came out against the transgender machine, calling out the predictable and horrific mental and physical side effects. The organization definitively stated:  

“Temporary use of puberty blocker Lupron has also been associated with and may be the cause of many serious permanent side effects including osteoporosis, mood disorders, seizures, cognitive impairment and, when combined with cross-sex hormones, sterility.   

In addition to the harm from Lupron, cross-sex hormones put youth at an increased risk of heart attacks, stroke, diabetes, blood clots, and cancers across their lifespan. Add to this the fact that physically healthy transgender-believing girls are being given double mastectomies at 13 and hysterectomies at 16. At the same time, their male counterparts are referred for surgical castration and penectomies at 16 and 17, respectively, and it becomes clear that affirming transition in children is about mutilating and sterilizing emotionally troubled youth.” (emphasis added)   

A review of HHS’ 409-page report details AGAIN what commonsense people know to be true, as previously confirmed by the 2024 Cass report: “changing” a child’s sex doesn’t fix anything–it only destroys: it ruins health, fertility, and the child’s future.

“The ‘gender-affirming model of care includes irreversible endocrine and surgical interventions on minors with no physical pathology,” HHS reports. “These interventions carry risk of significant harms including infertility/sterility, sexual dysfunction, impaired bone density accrual, adverse cognitive impacts, cardiovascular disease and metabolic disorders, psychiatric disorders, surgical complications, and regret.” (emphasis added)  

And for over a decade, Planned Parenthood has been cashing in on this “care,” just as they have on abortion.  

Planned Parenthood’s Quick Business Transition to Chemical Castration  

As early as 2005, Planned Parenthood set its sights on a new potential cash cow, slowly offering incorrect sex hormones at one Planned Parenthood affiliate location. By 2019, Planned Parenthood had officially expanded its services, at least in some regions. By 2022, Planned Parenthood fully embraced a “patient-led” model, with no therapist or mental health diagnosis required for these so-called hormonal treatments, and 45 affiliate locations offering cross-sex hormones. While it’s unclear how many of its 600 facilities will give out hormones in 2025, HHS’s newest finding makes us believe that the number has significantly increased, along with the rise of telehealth via app or website. 

As Students for Life of America (SFLA) President Kristan Hawkins aptly noted in her 2022 op-ed at The Federalist, Planned Parenthood is “transitioning” its business model, “working overtime to push more abortion on the American people, but given the woke acceptance of Planned Parenthood’s back-up plan, the organization is not going anywhere, at least not for a while.”  

So, besides killing more than 1,000 preborn children a day, what atrocities does Planned Parenthood commit when it comes to so-called “gender-affirming care”?  

Physical Implications of Disrupting Puberty for Boys and Girls   

Common cross-sex hormones for boys include estrogen to stimulate feminine secondary sex characteristics (softer skin, muscle mass reduction), anti-androgens to suppress natural testosterone levels, and progesterone for breast growth. Girls will be given testosterone to promote masculine secondary sex characteristics (muscle mass increase, body hair growth, and deepening voice).   

The side effects extend well beyond the deep regret so many victims experience due to their deformed bodies. These effects also include significant health complications.  

By disrupting natural puberty (not to be confused with treating precocious puberty), physical and reproductive maturity comes to a screeching halt, leading to several risks, according to HHS, “including infertility and decreased bone mineral density, elevating the risk of osteoporosis and fractures.” (emphasis added)  

For females who take unnaturally high amounts of testosterone, studies have shown the risk of breast and ovarian cancer, as well as “thinning and atrophy of the vaginal epithelium,” which is the eroding of cells lining the vaginal wall that provide protection against STIs and other pathogens. Additionally, HHS reports, “persistent pelvic pain and discomfort, and pelvic floor dysfunction.” Similarly, Mayo Clinic has noted additional complications including weight gain, acne, risk of heart problems, high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, and sleep apnea. 

For males, the reproductive risks of ingesting high levels of estrogen include “structural reconfiguration of testicular tissue, which could result in shrinking testicles, infertility, low libido, and erectile disfunction. Additionally, preliminary research suggests “estrogen may increase risk of developing multiple sclerosis and thyroid cancer, and that it may lead to a decrease in brain volume,” according to the report. 

Concerns about gender mutilation expand to sexual pleasure and the inability for trans-identifying people to feel sexual arousal or orgasms. Even leading vaginoplasty surgeon and transwoman Marci Bowers admitted that a makeshift clitoris provided no erogenous response.   

Psychiatric Consequences of Cross Sex Hormones  

As if the list of physical side effects isn’t long enough already, the resulting mental health implications are just as bad, if not worse.  

HHS provided a research-backed list of adverse psychiatric effects, including but not limited to: psychosis, irritability, aggression, euphoria, impulsivity, acute psychotic episodes, depression, delirium-like states, and more. Furthermore, the HHS report delved deeper into the likelihood of experiencing severe mental health symptoms:  

“In an analysis of the FDA’s Event Reporting System (FAERS) database for people using CSH for medical transition, 88% of adverse drug reactions were classified as serious. Without an idea of denominators, individual risks are not possible to quantify. Among the 83 reports regarding females using testosterone, 87.8% of the events were deemed serious, with two reported deaths (2.4%) and 25 hospitalizations (30.5%). Reported psychological harms included anxiety, depression, mood swings, suicidal ideation and behavior, aggression, dissociation, and self-harm. More extreme symptoms, such as antisocial behavior and homicidal ideation, were also documented.”  

If this is what Planned Parenthood considers “care,” we shudder to think what it might look like when they actually care.  

In the abortion giant’s case, its greatest care is the money it can leech from vulnerable and confused women, boys, and girls. So far, they’re succeeding.  

That doesn’t mean the war to stop sterilizing children is lost, however. SFLA has gone through great pains to protect children inside the womb from death and outside the womb from sterilization. We’ve warned of Planned Parenthood’s haphazard medical gatekeeping, allowing people to walk out with hormones in under 30 minutes. We even started a Title IX campaign and petition to protect the objectivity of male and female athletes and shield women’s sports.   

So far, Planned Parenthood hasn’t said anything about this alarming report. But if they actually cared, and looked seriously at this data, the organization would halt all its “gender-affirming care” and investigate.   

But again, no surprise, Planned Parenthood prioritizes profits over people. Yet, another reason to defund Planned Parenthood and stop sterilizing children. They don’t deserve OUR money to destroy and kill people and undermine the values of the freest country on earth.
